Proper Steps:

Sit on a physio ball with cables or resistance bands set at elbow height 
Grip both handles with your palms facing downward, ensuring that there is tension on the cables/bands when your arms are fully extended 
Row the resistance by pulling your elbows together behind you, rotating your wrists so that your palms face inward and contact your rib-cage 
Control the resistance as you return to the starting position
