Proper Steps:

Assume a tall-kneeling position facing cables or resistance bands set at elbow height
Grip the handle with the palm of your row arm facing inward, and tension on the cable/band when arms are fully extended out in front of you
Row the resistance by pulling your elbow behind you until your hand brushes your rib-cage
Control the return to the starting position
