Proper Steps:

Lie flat on a bench with 3 points of contact (glutes, packed shoulders, and head) and your feet flat on the floor
Wield a DB in each hand out front with your palms facing each other
Maintaining a fixed but soft bend in the elbows, control the weights as they arc away from each other until the DBs reach chest height
Contract your pecs and arc your elbows (and DBs) towards each other back into the starting position
