Exercise: Forward Skips (A-Skips)

Proper Steps:

Travel forward by skipping off the ball of each foot, as you drive upwards with the opposite knee 
Foot strike from the high knee leg should be powerful, and land below the hips, launching your body forward 
Arm swing should resemble that of a sprint, with  movement of the hands from “cheek to cheek” 
Minimize as much upward bounce of the torso and hips as possible 
Aim to perform as many skips as can be done with proper form in a given distance or period of time
