Proper Steps:

Lie face down on the floor with your core braced and a PVC pipe or broom stick held in both hands in an overhead position with your palms facing down
Create tension in the stick by trying to crush it with your grip, pull it apart, and break it in half
Float your thighs and shoulders off the ground
Perform a row by pulling your chest off the ground, and rowing the stick back to touch your chest without losing any tension
Imagine as if you are performing a pull up
