Proper Steps:

Start on hands and knees - knees under belly-button, hands under chest.
Pushing into chest and toes lift knees one inch off the ground
Lift one hand one inch, and opposite foot one inch, so you are balancing on the other one hand and foot. 
Pull the knee of the foot that's off the ground toward the opposite hand that's also off the ground (cross body), to rotate yourself.
Land hand and foot at same time in a crab position - chest up, shoulders back.
