Proper Steps:

Attach either the single-hand grips or the straight bar attachment to machine
Adjust swing arm to lowest setting
Grab the grips/bar underhand and square shoulders facing the machine
Place feet shoulder width apart and let grips/bar hang down at arms length
WITHOUT leaning back or swinging the weight, curl the grips/bar up toward your chest in an arc
Keep elbows stable and close to your sides
Bring the weight up as high as you can and squeeze at the top
Lower the weight slowly
