CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensities. CrossFit is broad, general and inclusive fitness that seeks to prepare participants for any physical or unknown contingency. You will work on the foundational movements of CrossFit while increasing your knowledge of fundamental CrossFit exercises and increasing your work capacity. Intro to CrossFit is an 8 week course that meets twice a week. Through the 16 classes, you will be taught the fundamental CrossFit movements, perform a Workout of the Day (WOD) and begin tracking strength numbers.

Purchasing the CrossFit membership will allow you to attend an unlimited number of Washington State University CrossFit classes.A Chinook or SRC membership is required to purchase a CrossFit Pass. Pass holders may attend classes in facilities where they are members; SRC members may attend classes at Down Under, and Chinook members may attend classes at the Chinook. The CrossFit pass does not include membership or provide access to facilities for non-members. Note: If you would like to participate in CrossFit for the entire semester, you will need to purchase the Cross Fit pass for both Session 1 (August 20-October 14) and Session 2 (October 15-December 14). Receive a $10 discount for purchasing both sessions at checkout.
