UFit 4.0

UFit 4.0 is a 12 week exercise program tailored to WSU students designed to build strength, endurance and mobility. Each week is divided into 4 separate workouts. At the end of the 12 weeks, students can apply for a $1000.00 scholarship provided by ASWSU. This fitness class is a way for those individuals in the program to work out together! If you are not involved in UFIT 4.0, that's okay, you can still participate and register! This class will be lead by a certified personal trainer. Each day you will perform one of the four weekly workouts prescribed in the UFIT 4.0 exercise program. This course meets on Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:30pm in the Down Under Rec Center. Barre, Strength Morning w/ Jenn

Barre Strength infuses ballet-inspired movements, Pilates, dance, and elements of strength training into a 50 minute class. This class is great for yoga practitioners of all levels! Whether you have never stepped on a mat, or you have been practicing for years, this class will build you a solid foundation. Teaching key poses and placing emphasis on technique, this class will either polish up your poses or teach you how to build yours for the first time, ground up. Free Fitness FriYAY! Intro to CrossFit: Tuesday, Thursday 5:15-6:15pm, Session 2

CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensities. CrossFit is broad, general and inclusive fitness that seeks to prepare participants for any physical or unknown contingency. You will work on the foundational movements of CrossFit while increasing your knowledge of fundamental CrossFit exercises and increasing your work capacity. Intro to CrossFit is an 8 week course that meets twice a week. Through the 16 classes, you will be taught the fundamental CrossFit movements, perform a Workout of the Day (WOD) and begin tracking strength numbers.
