Are there weekend passes or special discounts for family members or guests?

SRC Members (both student and elected) may bring guests to the facility with the purchase of a $5 guest pass. Special Event Weekend Passes are sold during Special Event Weekends such as home football game weekends in the fall and Mom's Weekend in the spring.  These passes are just $10 and good for SRC entry Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of those specific weekends.

Can I purchase a membership if I am not connect to WSU community?

Yes, you need to join the WSU Alumni Association ($45 annually). Once you have a membership with them, you then qualify for the SRC Alumni Membership.

When may I bring my children to the SRC?

Those under the age of 18 have access to the SRC during our family hours. The cost is $1 per day and a legal adult must accompany them during their visit to the SRC.

How do I get my name on the full size locker waiting list?

Please email Olga Polyak with your name, phone number and request to be placed on the full size locker waiting list.

Can I have a refund on my SRC membership?

We offer refunds for the following 3 reasons: You are no longer working for the University, you have moved out of the area, you have a medical condition which prohibites you from utilizing our services.

Can I become a member of the SRC if I am a part-time student or recent graduate?

Yes you can. We allow all part-time and interim students (students who were enrolled in the previous semester but are not currently) to purchase an SRC membership at the student rate.

Can I join the SRC for a week or month at a time?

Currently University Recreation offers SRC membership on an annual and semester basis. For more information on single and multiple entry passes for short term use, please contact Olga Polyak at olga.polyak@wsu.edu.

Can I payroll deduct my membership if I am a university employee?

All full-time, 12-month appointment WSU employees are eligible to payroll deduct a Student Recreation Center membership. Semester memberships may be deducted from one paycheck. Annual memberships can be deducted from 1,12, or 22 paychecks.  All full-time WSU employees with an appointment less than 12 months are eligible to payroll deduct a SRC membership from either one or 12 checks.

Can my spouse/partner join the SRC?

University Recreation offers memberships to spouses/partners of current WSU students and faculty/staff as well as SRC alumni and community members. To be eligible as a faculty/staff or student spouse/partner, the other spouse/partner must be affiliated with WSU (current student or employee). To be eligible as an alumni/community spouse/partner, the other spouse/partner must be a current SRC member in that category. For further clarification, contact Olga Polyak at olga.polyak@wsu.edu

Do I have to use my Cougar Card to enter the SRC?

A Cougar Card is required for entry each time a member visits the SRC. If you do not have a Cougar Card at the time of your membership purchase, one must be obtained within one week of the membership purchase date. How can I become a member of the SRC if I’m not a student or faculty member?

To make this possible, you will need to join as an Alumni Member . You can join the WSU Alumni Association by paying a fee and they will issue you a member number. Simply use this number on your membership application to purchase at the Alumni rate.

What is the Membership Refund Policy?

Student Recreation Center elected membership purchases will be refunded on a prorated basis only under the following circumstances. 

  • SRC member has separated their employment from the university.
  • SRC member will be moving out of the area.
  • SRC member has documented medical circumstances that will not allow them to use the facility.
