Palouse Outdoor Festival
The Palouse Outdoor Festival engages participants in outdoor recreation, promotes environmental stewardship, showcases local resources, and fosters community across the Palouse.
Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour
The Banff Mountain Film Festival highlights the many aspects of mountain culture throughout the world. The showing at WSU will be made up of several films that vary in length from two minutes to full-length feature film productions. If you are an outdoor enthusiast or appreciate adventure films, you won't want to miss this spectacular event! The 2018 showing took place on January 22nd.
No Man's Land Film Festival
The No Man's Land Film Festival is an all-female adventure film festival dedicated to showcasing passionate and powerful women exploring their environments. The festival is a collaboration and celebration of men and women who are deeply engaged in enhancing female presence in the adventure arena. The 2018 showing took place on February 28th.
The Pullman Pulldown
Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced climber, everyone is welcome to attend and participate in the Pullman Pulldown, an annual bouldering competition held each spring at the SRC Climbing Wall. This event provides the opportunity for fun and friendly competition between everyone in our climbing community. The 2018 Pullman Pulldown took place on March 31st.
Outdoor Photography Contest
Show us your skills as you capture the beauty of the outdoors! The Outdoor Photography Contest and Exhibit is an annual event sponsored by WSU’s Outdoor Recreation Center and Student Entertainment Board. This contest is open to any amateur photographers.
