FAQ

Pt 13

How Should I Choose a Personal Trainer?

When choosing a personal trainer, it is important to select someone who matches your personality type, values, and interests to help you achieve your goals.  To aid in this process, we have online personal trainer bios which allow you to learn about our trainers before you make your initial appointment.   After choosing a personal trainer, either stop by our main office (SRC 142) or call 335-8732 to schedule a 30-minute goal session.

What Else Does the UREC Personal Training Program Have to Offer?

The UREC Personal Training Program has a wide variety of programs to fit each individual's needs.

  • 60 Minute Consultations
  • Body Composition Testing
  • Fitness Assessments

  • Buddy Sessions
  • Triple Sessions
What is a Fitness Assessment?

A fitness assessment is a series of exercises that measure your body composition, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and flexibility resulting in a set of measurements that can be used as a baseline to measure progress.  With these results in place, your fitness and exercise goals can be set realistically. We currently offer a partial fitness assessment option for those who do not want to perform the cardiovascular portion.
