Fitness Classes

Intro to Spin:

Indoor cycling offers a challenging yet safe workout for participants of all levels. Participants control their intensity individually while the instructor leads the class through simulated terrain accompanied with great tunes and energy pumping drills. Intro to Spin will teach you the basics of indoor cycling as well as begin to build your cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance.

Intro to Yoga Core:

Balancing the benefits of gentle yoga and core training, Intro to Yoga Core focuses on a low-moderate intensity work section with poses held for moderate intervals, with an emphasis on building core strength. Perfect for those who love yoga and are looking to build additional core strength!

Intramural Sports Spikeball

Stop by the intramural area during the BBQ to play some spikeball. Spikeball is a mix between volleyball and ping pong which provides addictive fun! We will have two sets for you to come by and try out with others at the BBQ.  While here, pick up information about the fall semester intramural calendar which features traditional league sports such as flag football, soccer, softball, and basketball or weekend tournaments such as ultimate disc, golf scrambles, or sand volleyball.

SRC Tour with a Personal Trainer

Tour the Student Recreation Center with a nationally certified personal trainer, and pose all the fitness related questions you can think of.  This is a rare opportunity allowing a future coug to truly understand the benefit of our Student Recreation Center.
