Chinook Student Center Study Hours

Looking for a place to study? Whether it is with a group or by yourself, the Chinook Student Center offers a variety of spaces to meet your study needs! Beginning on December 3rd, through December 13th the Chinook Student Center will be open from 5:30 am-2:00 am each day!

 

FREE Fitness Classes: 12/10-12/14 Monday-Friday at all UREC Locations

Current research strongly supports that physical activity increases the brain's ability to learn. Physical activity has also been shown to reduce stress and increase mental health. Schedule your study breaks with UREC and check out a new class to sweat some stress! The schedule is listed below. If you enjoy these fitness classes, don't forget the Spring Session 1 Registration will open on December 1. Spring Session 1 begins on Monday, January 14! Looking for more group fitness? Don't forget you have another chance to try before you buy with our Spring All Access Week from Monday, January 7 to Sunday, January 13.

Make a Letter/Take a Letter for Fellow Cougs

10:30 am-12:30 pm, CUB Lair

Write an encouraging letter for a fellow Coug to pick up, and pick one up for yourself! This event is hosted by CUB.

 

Wednesday, December 5

Hydration Nation: Stay Hydrated for Finals with a free bottle of water

2 pm-3 pm, CUB Lair

Take a bottle of water to keep hydrated and keep your brain functioning as you prep for finals. This event is hosted by CUB.

 

Squeeze Your Stress Away: Stress Ball Making

Come and make a stress ball! Take it with you to smash during your most stressful time! This event is in hosted by CUB.

Fitness Swimming is a structured aquatic program, designed to challenge all participants no matter their swimming abilities. Fitness Swimming offers on-deck coaching, with workouts tailored to the group of swimmers participating. Each workout plan will be adapted to each individual swimmer, to help push, challenge and improve each participant’s personal goals. This program is perfect for those wanting to cross train, improve swimming techniques, master skills, training for triathlons and more!
