Sweat the Stress of finals week with University Recreation!
Each semester we strive to provide a variety of offerings to help everyone get out, be active, and clear the mind for FREE. In the past, particpants have enjoyed free chair massages, fitness classes, and more. Check back soon for a complete list of offerings.
ORC Climbing Wall
The ORC Climbing Wall will be open additional hours during the week for you to get your mind off of finals. A current Bouldering Orientation is still required.
Additional Hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4pm.
Wellbeing
Test Anxiety Workshop-
The Overcoming Test Anxiety Workshop provides a variety of strategies for managing test anxiety. This workshop will help participants acquire knowledge and skill with relaxation exercises and cognitive strategies to reduce test anxiety as well as test preparation and test-taking skills. Participants will come away with several strategies that they can begin to implement immediately to reduce anxiety and begin improving test performance.

Stress Management Workshop-
In this workshop we will provide an introduction to the basics of understanding stress, stressors and the stress response in people. You will learn about the stress continuum and the four areas in which stress exists in all of us. We will focus on ways you can begin to control how external & internal stressors affect you.

Massage
The UREC Massage Program is proud to offer free relaxation chair massages in the SRC on Monday 4/28 and Tuesday 4/29 from 2:00- 4:00 PM outside of Rm. 142. Massage has been shown to decrease stress and increase mental and physical wellbeing. If finals week has got you stressed, this is an ideal time to stop by for a relaxing 10 minute massage.
