University Recreation Sustainability Statement
new

University Recreation at Washington State University is committed to creating a sustainable environment for our students, staff, and faculty. Our priorities include increasing education and awareness of sustainable efforts and practices within University Recreation for the university community. As a department we will strive to implement practices and technologies to minimize our impact on the environment. We will continue to role model environmentally conscious behavior to meet our needs without depleting resources for the future.

Why is sustainability Important?

As our world and society continues to change, University Recreation believes it is important to focus on our environmental impact. Every action counts and we want future Cougars to experience a world that has the comforts we enjoy without the stress of limited resources. University Recreation believes in keeping it green for future Cougars so they can live in a world where air and water are safe and that our natural places are preserved.
