Proper Steps:

Set the cable to the lowest setting
Assume a Half-Kneeling position perpendicular to the cable with the outside foot planted 
Use an overhand grip with both hands
Start with the inside elbow extended, the outside elbow bent above shoulder height, and bar close to body
Maintaining square shoulders and hips
Extend the outside elbow and bend the inside elbow
Without turning, press the inside arm forward
Control the weight as your reverse the motion
