Proper Steps:

Begin in a wider than shoulder-width stance, with a KB centered a foot or two ahead of you
Brace your core, hinge your hips, and grab KB with both hands
pack your shoulder blades by pulling them down and together, allowing the KB to tilt towards you
Stand up and "catch" the KB with your hips as you hinge them behind you **DO NOT LET KB SWING BELOW YOUR KNEES**
Extend your hips to stand tall, launching the KB to shoulder height
Catch the KB on its way back down, and repeat for desired reps
