Proper Steps:

Begin lying on your back with you heels close to your glutes, and your toes, knees, and hips in-line
Brace your core by pressing your belly button into the ground and keeping your rib-cage tucked downward
Lock in your lumbar spine (low back) by tucking and holding onto one knee
Squeeze the glute of your free leg and press your hips towards the ceiling, driving through your heel
Control your movement as you return to the starting position
