Proper Steps:

Begin lying on your back with your heels close to your glutes, and your toes, knees, and hips in-line
Brace your core by pressing your belly button into the ground and keeping your rib-cage tucked downward
Raise one leg into the air, and keep it there
Squeeze your glutes and press your hips towards the ceiling
Control your movement as you return to the starting position
Repeat on both sides for desired amount of repetitions
