Proper Steps:

Begin seated with a dumbbell in each hand
Hold the dummbells in front of your chin, with your elbows tucked in front of you
Brace your core by driving your belly button into your spine and maintaining a tucked rib-cage
Pack your shoulder-blades by pulling them down and together
Drive the dumbbells upwards in a corkscrew motion, finishing with your biceps besides your ears
Control the weight as you return to the starting position
