Proper Steps:

Seated with strong posture, wield 2 DBs over-head with the hammer grip (palms in)
With your elbows held isometrically by your ears, lower the DBs behind you so that the pinky-side plates are parallel to the floor
Press the plates towards the ceiling by extending your elbows, with minimal lateral movement of the elbow
Try to keep the plates parallel with the ground as much as possible throughout the movement
