Proper Steps:

Assume a 6-point quadruped stance, with your knees stacked under your hips, and your wrists + elbows stacked under your shoulders
With opposing extremities (one upper and one lower) reach out and create a straight line from fingertip to heel
Re-place your limbs on the floor and alternate symmetrically for the desired amount of reps or for time
Minimize any lateral sway of your hips – you can put a plate or book on your low back and try to crawl without letting it slip off
