Proper Steps:

Begin in a strong high-plank position with your wrists and elbows stacked underneath your shoulders
Brace your core by driving your belly button into your spine
Keeping your hips low and in line with your shoulders, tuck one of your knees and step with your foot flat outside of the same side hand
Squeeze your glutes and drive your hips forward to increase hip mobility 
Return your foot to the starting position and alternate to the other side evenly for the desired amount of repetitions
