Proper Steps:

Start by standing with strong posture, next to a fixed structure
Grip the structure firmly with your inside arm 
Make a tight fist in front of you with the outside arm
Brace your core and Irradiate tension throughout your entire body
Begin the movement by driving your outside knee as high as possible without pain or compensation through other joints
Draw the biggest circle possible with your knee until its next to the standing knee, then reverse the pattern
