Proper Steps:

From a deep lunge position, with your lead knee angled outward, lower your entire body as close to the ground as possible without touching the floor 
With your rear hand (same side as your lead knee) sweep your arm out to the side and overhead in an arc
Grip the floor and pull your body forward, while pressing off the toes of your bent leg into the starting position, facing the other direction. 
Repeat slowly with control
