Proper Steps:

Begin in a high-plank position
Without bending your elbows, lower your body as deep as your can between your shoulders by squeezing your shoulder blades together behind you
Drive your hands into the floor and press your body back up into the starting position (or further)
Make sure to maintain a straight line from heels to the top of your head throughout
