Proper Steps:

From a deep squat or ‘Ape posture’ place one hand down by the same side ankle
Shift your weight onto your hand as you reach overhead with the opposite arm, and extend your other leg to tap the floor with your toe
Create tension from toe to fingertip as you create a ‘side bride’ over your body
Hold for a couple seconds (or longer) then return to the starting position before alternating
