Proper Steps:

Lay on your back with both legs fully extended and 1 arm extended 
Raise opposite leg and opposite arm at the same, while keeping the other leg/arm down
Sit up and try to touch your hand to foot and lower back down to starting position 
Complete same movement but with other arm and leg 
To increase intensity do not let the rising leg contact the floor while completing reps, keep it a few inches off the ground
