Proper Steps:

Begin in an athletic stance perpendicular to the wall or a partner
Load the MB behind your rear hip then explosively throw the MB at the wall or your partner 
Allow the rotational momentum of your torso to pull your rear hip forward, as you hop and switch your stance 180 degrees
Catch the MB and repeat from the opposite stance, alternating back and forth with each rep
