Proper Steps:

In an athletic stance with a mini band around your ankles and your feet oriented forward
Alternate stepping forward/ and outward (diagonally) with one foot and following up with the other leg
Perform the desired amount of repetitions both forward and backwards
Maintain tension on the band throughout (even) when your feet step together
