Proper Steps:

Carefully read machine description and exercise steps printed on machine
From seated position grasp handles at shoulder height
Before beginning movement, pack shoulder blades by squeezing them down and back against the bench pad and maintain throughout
Maintain spine alignment by keeping rib cage tucked 
Press overhead
Pause briefly at the top before controlling the return to the starting position
Repeat for desired number of repetitions
