SRC Pool and Spa

The SRC Pool and Spa include a five-lane, 25-yard pool with an attached leisure area designed for water basketball and water volleyball. The pool is between 2.5 and 5 feet deep. The spa has a recirculating waterfall and can accommodate up to 53 people. The SRC Pool and Spa are accessible through the locker rooms and all-gender locker room.  The terrace and sun deck are open when weather permits. Lounge chairs are available for use during the spring and summer months. Smith Pool

Located in Smith Gym, Smith Pool first opened in 1936. This four-lane, 25-yard pool is between 4 and 9 feet deep and is host to many different aquatic classes such as Aqua Fit, Adult Swim Lessons, Masters Swimming, ORC Kayaking Courses, and the Women Only Swim Program. Smith Pool is host to University Recreation's Women's Only Open Swim. Women's Only Open swim time is available on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. during the school fall and spring semesters. Smith Pool is also available for reservation for groups and outside users.  Please contact urec.scheduling@wsu.edu for more information.

Gibb Pool

Gibb Pool, built-in 1969, is located on the lower level of the Physical Education Building (PEB). It is an eight-lane, 25-yard L-shaped pool with a 14-foot deep area and (excluding the 14-foot area) is between 3.5 and 9 feet deep. Gibb pool is WSU's main competitive pool and is home to the WSU Women's Swim Team, Water Polo Club, Lifeguard Training, and various academic classes. Gibb Pool is open for members of the Faculty/Staff Fitness Program to lap swim.  Please visit the Faculty/Staff Fitness Program Website for more information.  It is also available for reservation for groups and outside users.  Please contact urec.scheduling@wsu.edu for more information.
