Washington State University CrossFit is pleased to present our seventh annual functional fitness competition, the Palouse Throwdown VII. Based on past feedback, this year's event will be a same-gender partner competition! The event will take place on Saturday, April 1 at the Chinook Student Center Lower Weight Room (B40 and B50), starting with Check-In at 8:45:00 AM, Athletes' Meeting at 9:00 AM, and competition at 10:00 AM.

This registration is for Men's teams performing in the RX division. If signing up in this division, you should be able to complete the following: -Power Cleans (155) -Double Unders -Devil Presses (50) -Double Kettlebell Clean Thrusters (53) -Double Kettlebell Swing (53) -Shoulder to Overhead (155) -Compete a Snatch/Power Snatch -Front Squat (155) -Chest to Bar Pullups

The event will take place on Saturday, April 1 at the Chinook Student Center Lower Weight Room (B40 and B50), starting with Check-In at 8:45:00 AM, Athletes' Meeting at 9:00 AM, and competition at 10:00 AM.

This registration is for individual athletes performing in the ADAPTIVE Division. If signing up in this division, we will contact you regarding your disability so we can appropriately provide event adaptations. We welcome all athletes with disabilities to join, including: -Upper Extremity -Lower Extremity -Seated Athletes with Hip Function -Seated Athletes without Hip Function -Neuromuscular -Vision -Intellectual -Short Stature

All participants are guaranteed at least 3 workouts. More information on event adaptations and details will be released by September 30, 2022.

This is an opportunity for U-FIT 4.0 competitors to take their final assessments as the challenge is coming to a close. Our U-FIT trainers will provide an opportunity for competitors to obtain baseline measurements. Assessments will include:

*Body Composition Testing *Cardiovascular Testing *Muscular Endurance Power Testing *Muscular Power Testing

Competitors can use their results from assessments to help guide them through writing their short essay!

The WSU Rugged Coug Race is an approximately 5k (3.1 mile) obstacle race on the WSU campus. Racers should expect to find physical elements on the course such as a wall scale, tire flips, off road running, sand bag carries, and more. Community members are welcome along with students, faculty, spouses, or partners. Eligibility: This event is open to anyone who is 12 years of age or older.

This heat is in the "elite" category. This will consist of the runners who are more competitive and are here to win. This will also involve more difficult "punishments" for failed obstacles.
