Learn more about UREC memberships and passes.

Member Access

UREC members must have a valid Cougar Card to enter.  If you forget your Cougar Card, you may check in at the Membership Services Desk to gain entry with your WSU ID number.  After three entries without a Cougar Card, you will be asked to purchase a guest pass or access may be denied.

An individual using another person's Cougar Card to enter the SRC will have the card confiscated and that individual will be asked to leave the facility.

Non-Member Access

Non-Members may purchase a day pass for $10 (currently unavailable).  Youth, accompanied by an adult during Family Hours, day passes can be purchased for $2.  Members can sponsor guests for $6 (currently unavailable), but both must enter the facility at the same time.  All UREC Passes will give you access to the following:

  • SRC Facility (racquetball, basketball, sport court, volleyball, and badminton)

  • Weight room and cardio areas - please see the age restrictions for youth in the weight room

  • SRC Pool & Spa

  • Complimentary fitness towel and shower towel service

  • Day use locker

  • Fitness classes and roped climbing are not included in the purchase of a day/guest pass.  There is an additional fee associated with these options.

All Gender Locker Room

The All Gender Locker Room provides an option to students and families who may not feel comfortable using a gendered locker room space. The All Gender Locker Room provides direct access to the pool and spa and has ADA handicap access. UREC hopes that this will encourage those who previously felt uncomfortable using the facility, programs, and services to feel more included.  The All Gender Locker Room is located to the left of the Service Counter at the Student Recreation Center.

Facility Tours

If you or your group wishes to take a tour of the SRC, please check in at the Membership Services Desk to fill out the Visitor Sign In sheet.  Groups that would like a guided tour can request a UREC staff member to lead the tour or pick up a self-guided tour sheet from the Membership Desk.  For actual space rentals, please find that information on our Rentals & Reservations page.

The SRC and Tennis Court Parking Lots are monitored Monday through Friday by parking services.  You will need a valid WSU parking permit or obtain a temporary parking permit from the parking pay stations located near the entrance to the SRC Parking Lot.  The first 90 minutes at the SRC parking vending machine is free, additional time may be purchased at an additional $.50/hour.

You are encouraged to call Parking Services at 509.335.7275 (PARK) if you are experiencing any problems.  University Recreation is not responsible for tickets received by patrons or staff.
