Description

Come learn how to exit a kayak in the comfort of a pool. We will teach you the basic skills of kayak rescue so you can feel more comfortable and confident on the water. For more advanced paddlers, we’ll also be offering practice time for those developing more advanced skills such as rolling. The clinic will be instructional and have open pool time for students to practice skills they have been taught and skills they already know. We will provide all necessary gear; just bring a swimsuit and a positive attitude. This trip is rated a Level 1. No experience necessary! Clinic cost includes: Kayak, PFD, paddles, and facilitators. Cancellation Policy: In order to minimize our environmental impact, maintain facilitator-to-participant ratios, meet permit criteria, and transportation logistics, ORC programs are designed for small groups (typically up to 6 participants with 2 facilitators). Late cancellations can seriously impact our ability to accommodate others and recover costs. • Cancellations made up until 2 weeks prior to the registration deadline will receive a full refund. • Cancellations made within 2 weeks prior to the registration deadline receive 50% refund. • Sorry, no refunds are given past the registration deadline.
