4x4x4 Kickball Tournament
This event is an open 4 person team kickball tournament. All teams will consist of 4 players with any combination of men and/or women. Each game will consist of three teams. Team #1 will start the game batting/kicking while Team #2 and Team #3 will be in the field on defense. When Team #1 is put out 3 times, Team #2 will go to bat/kick while Team #1 and Team #3 play on defense. When Team #2 is put out 3 times, Team #3 will go to bat/kick while Team #1 and Team #2 play defense. Each time this cycle is completed one inning has been played. 5 full innings will make up a game. There will also be a 45 minute time limit where no new inning can start after 45 minutes. Once an inning has been started the whole inning must be completed. The team that scores the most runs in the game will receive two points toward playoff seeding, the team that scores the second most runs will receive one point for playoff seeding. The team who scores the least runs will receive zero points for playoff seeding.
Tournament format will be determined by the number of entries; participants are guaranteed two games. Complete rules are available on the intramural website at imsports.wsu.edu.
The event will take place at Valley Road Playfield. Schedules will be posted outside of SRC 250 and online at imsports.wsu.edu by Thursday, September 29 at 5:00pm. Teams are responsible for checking their own schedules.
