UREC FIT: Cycling & Core

UREC FIT courses cover the basics of group fitness instruction through lecture and practical applications of anatomy, kinesiology, exercise principles and guidelines, cueing techniques, choreography, and injury prevention. UREC FIT courses do not provide certification, but are great opportunities to begin gaining experience in group fitness instruction. For potential instructors with no previous experience, this training is required to work for UREC. After successfully completing the training and the subsequent shadowing process, participants can audition to teach fitness classes for UREC.

Depending on program needs, UREC FIT courses may cover some or all of the following teaching modalities: TRX, muscle conditioning, gravity, step, kickboxing, cardio circuit, boot camp, and others. ($52 - Includes workshops, mentoring program, & fitness class registration)

*Please note: completion of class is not a guarantee of employment.

Attending both Saturday 3/31 and Sunday 4/1 are required for the course if participant does not hold a nationally recognized certification.

**Refund Policy: Full refund within 6 days following the first class; 50% refund within 13 days following the first class. No refund will be given after 13 days of the start of the class.
