UREC Staff Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED - Provisional Certification

This course will be comprised of 2 different components. A blended learning online course for cognitive learning and an instructor-led in-person skills session for skill verification once UREC is able to return to normal operations. New and recertifying customers will complete the blending learning portion of their class and receive a Provisional Certificate which allows the student 90 days before taking the Instructor-Led Skills Session. You will have to take the in-person instructor-led skills session with 90 days of taking the online blended learning portion. You will schedule the in-person session with your manager when offerings become available. When you arrive in class you must bring a copy of your completed online work certificate. If you do not bring this certification the instructor will not let you stay in the course. If you are unable to print it at home please email a copy to your manager and have them print a copy for you.

Student Employee Advisory Council (SEAC)

The purpose of this council will be to advise UREC on many student employment issues, improve on the general employment conditions, review trainings, and assist in creating an effective culture that will contribute to student learning, as well as improving the larger organization. Members of SEAC will meet three to four times each semester, or approximately once a month. The target size for the council is 10-15 UREC student employees, representing all of the program and facility areas within University Recreation.
