Facility Reservations

RSO's must also complete event requests in WSU Involve in order to have their events approved by UREC.

WSU Departments are responsible for filling out any Requests to Serve Food, UREC is not responsible for this task.

A External WSU Group is one that has no affiliation with WSU (not a student organization, not a WSU Department, etc.) or is a student group that is not an official Registered Student Organization (RSO).

External WSU Groups must also provide proof of insurance coverage prior to a reservation being finalized.

"RENTER shall be required to furnish an appropriate and current certificate of insurance showing that there is in effect, commercial or comprehensive general liability insurance, including public liability and property damage, written by an insurer authorized to do business in the State of Washington. The renter agrees to provide approved proof of liability insurance in the amount of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000 per occurrence) combined single limit, two million ($2,000,000) for the aggregate on all group members. The renter further agrees to name as additional insured Washington State University, its officers, agents, and employees. This insurance coverage must be primary and non-contributory.

Groups of 10 or more qualify for the Group Access Rate.

Members may create instant reservations for up to an hour for racquetball/squash courts.  To do this, go to the Facility Scheduling Availability Calendar and log into your DSE account.  You can then filter the category to Racquetball/Squash to narrow the spaces.  Then Click and Drag your cursor for the hour block you would like to reserve.  This will pop up a confirm reservation pop up where you can edit the day and time.  Review the information provided and press the confirm button.

You can manage your instant reservation by clicking the My Reservations link in the top right corner of the Availability Calendar.  If you need to cancel your reservation, click manage on the reservation you want to cancel, then click cancel on the next screen.

SRC 256 Fitness Room Reservations 

SRC 256 is a hardwood fitness room that is available for members to schedule time for individual workouts.

• SRC 256 may be utilized for individual or small group (ten people or less) practice.
• Reservations may not be made more than two days in advance and no less than two hours in advance
• Your reservation is cancelled if you do not show up within the first 10 minutes of the reservation.
• You or your group may only reserve a one hour time slot. 
• UREC programming has priority use of the room including 30 minutes before the start of a class and 30 minutes at the end of a class. 
• The room must remain open at all times during non-programmed use. 
• The equipment and sound system in SRC 256 are for UREC staff use only.  Please check with the SRC Membership Desk for equipment rental & check out options or bring all equipment needed.
• You can use the GET App to check out equipment from the SRC Membership Desk in place of your Cougar Card.
• Please check in with the SRC Membership Desk upon arrival.
