Sustainable Movement for Exercise Workshop

Saturday, September 23, 9 am -5 pm in the Chinook Student Center

Aligning with the inherent energy flow of the body is the simplest way to tap into your vitality and return to the natural alignment that is your true nature. In our time together, we will learn and practice simple principles of alignment, based on essentials of basic kinesiology and biomechanics, that will give you options to refine your practice and teachings to become even more sustainable.

YogaFit Level One Certification

The first step on the path toward becoming a yoga teacher or simply deepening your practice, Level One provides the tools to create inspiring vinyasa yoga classes grounded in proper alignment and the safety of exercise science.

Palouse Throwdown

The 4th annual Palouse Throwdown will take place on Saturday, September 30th. This year's event will be at the new Chinook Center in the heart of the WSU campus with both scaled and Rx divisions! 
$60 for each two person team, $65 for non members of the Chinook. Cost of registration includes event t-shirts!

Fall 2017 Registration

Registration is open June 6th-September 3rd, 2017. Fall Session 1 classes will run August 28th- October 15th. View our Fall Session 1 Fitness class offerings for the Chinook and the Student Recreation Center and Shared Facility locations. NOTE: SRC members are eligible to purchase fitness classes at the Chinook. Class prices are increased to accommodate access to the facility for the class.
