NOTE: Please wear a face covering (cloth face covering is adequate) while in the building in accordance with Governor Inslee's mandate beginning on June 26 for the state of Washington. Face coverings may be removed once in the fitness classroom and 17.4 ft physical distance (300 sq ft per patron) can be maintained.

This yoga class involves a mindful practice during which we “flow” from one pose to the next. We move with our breaths in sequence of various poses. Intro to Strongman is a 7-week course that meets twice a week, and don’t let the name fool you, Strongman is open to all genders of all fitness levels. The course will introduce you to functional strength lifts associated with Strongman and Strongwoman competitions around the world. You will learn the fundamentals of Deadlift, Farmer’s Carry, Log Press, Yoke Carry, Atlas Stones, and Circus Dumbbell Press. While the class meets only once a week, it is intended to give you the knowledge necessary to train for these lifts on your own, in addition to class time.

Led by a certified personal trainer, Women on Weights will show you how to lift weights properly and provide an understanding as to why adding strength training to your exercise routine will benefit you. Warrior Fitness Training is a strength and conditioning program designed to teach fitness fundamentals that have been used by military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders! This fitness class will focus on high intensity body weight cardio, calisthenics, endurance training and body conditioning. The course will emphasize kettlebells, climbing and battle ropes, gymnastics, mobility drills, stair runs, buddy carries, speed drills, and sled pushes. All designed to develop teamwork and camaraderie within the group. Intro to Olympic Lifting is and 7 week course that meets twice a week. You will learn the fundamentals of the Clean, the Jerk, and the Snatch. Along the way, you will also be instructed on how to perform auxiliary lifts to compliment the Olympic lifts. A foundation of squatting, pressing & lifting is also included in this strength & conditioning program. This course is taught by a USA Weightlifting certified coach. This class places extra emphasis on the powerhouse of the body- the core. Targeting all of the major muscle groups in the trunk and building a strong foundation, this class is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners. In a high-energy, fast-paced class that is sure to pack a punch (along with kicks and jabs), we will work to improve our cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and kickboxing technique. With the use of mitts, heavy bags, and other equipment, we will complete non-contact kickboxing drills, strength training, and cardio. Designed for all fitness levels and experiences, no prior sports/combat experience is necessary. *Purchase will include gloves and wraps.
