We are offering FREE fitness classes throughout the week! Please note that not all Session 2 classes will occur during Sweat the Stress. No reservations or registration needed; first come, first served based on capacity limits.

Group indoor cycling offers a challenging yet safe workout for participants of all levels. Participants control their intensity individually while the instructor leads the class through simulated terrain accompanied by great tunes and energy pumping drills. Spin will build everyone's cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and muscular endurance as we pedal our way to increased fitness. Class times and capacity reflect physical distancing guidelines. All patrons will receive a confirmation email upon registration with detailed protocols that everyone must follow. Back for Summer 2021? Keep your conditioning levels up and gain access to all fitness classes August 2-15. Session 3 Fitness Pass includes access to CougStrong classes. Try out any class for one great price! Just $15 for SRC, FSFP and Chinook members. Classes will operate on a first come, first served basis with limited capacity to maintain physical distancing. Please note that all classes will be held at the Chinook in fitness rooms 20 (10 spots for Spin, 15 for STRONG and Mo-Flex), 22 (15 spots), 30 (21 spots), and B40 (16 spots). These spots reflect Phase 3 guidelines. The SRC will not be open August 1-7 due to our biannual Closed Week cleaning, during which SRC members will be granted access to the Chinook until the SRC reopens on August 8. Stay tuned for upcoming special events with FREE classes and workshops: Week of Welcome (WOW) begins Monday, August 16. All Access Week will begin Monday, August 23 and will feature Fall Session 1 classes.

Work through eight tracks in this 50-minute long Les Mills format that will surely challenge everyone, every time, with compound and isolation movements using a barbell, free weights, body weight, and an aerobic step. Back for Summer 2021? Keep your conditioning levels up and gain access to all fitness classes August 2-15. Session 3 Fitness Pass includes access to CougStrong classes. Try out any class for one great price! Just $15 for SRC, FSFP and Chinook members. Classes will operate on a first come, first served basis with limited capacity to maintain physical distancing. Please note that all classes will be held at the Chinook in fitness rooms 20 (10 spots for Spin, 15 for STRONG and Mo-Flex), 22 (15 spots), 30 (21 spots), and B40 (16 spots). These spots reflect Phase 3 guidelines. The SRC will not be open August 1-7 due to our biannual Closed Week cleaning, during which SRC members will be granted access to the Chinook until the SRC reopens on August 8. Stay tuned for upcoming special events with FREE classes and workshops: Week of Welcome (WOW) begins Monday, August 16. All Access Week will begin Monday, August 23 and will feature Fall Session 1 classes.

This yoga class will give everyone the space to relax and open up in a way that soothes muscles and releases minds. With its slower pace, this class will keep everyone supported and safe while we connect with our breath and body. Class times and capacity reflect physical distancing guidelines. All patrons will receive a confirmation email upon registration with detailed protocols that everyone must follow. It is recommended that high-risk patrons stay home to stay healthy. We appreciate your cooperation. We will NOT have fitness classes on Monday, May 31 (Memorial Day), Sunday, July 4 (Independence Day), and Sunday, August 1 (SRC Closed Week). There will STILL be fitness classes on Saturday, July 3 and Monday, July 5. FITNESS SCHEDULE This summer, we will have three sessions; separate registrations are required per session. Session 1 (May 10-June 20) and Session 2 (June 21-August 1) will have both in-person and online classes. Session 3 will be a pass system, in which you can attend as many in-person classes as you want from August 2-15. See urec.wsu.edu/fitness for details. All regularly scheduled and special event in-person classes, except Taekwondo, are open to only students and members at this time. All online classes remain FREE to members and non-members with a WSU NID. PICK-2 DISCOUNT Purchase ANY two in-person classes and receive $10 off your purchase!
