Everyone is a winner during Sports Week, so get ready to compete in our Cougar Kids Camp Games at the end of the week for a chance to taste victory.
Week 2: Super Coug Week (June 21-24)
To become a superhero, you must first go through training. During our second week at camp, we will be focusing on fitness! The superhero training routine will teach campers about cross-training, sports conditioning, martial arts, yoga, Zumba, and aquatic sessions. We’ll also how food can make a superhero stronger. Campers will work with our superhero trainers to get themselves ready to save the day in our obstacle course at the end of the week.
We will not have camp on Monday, June 20th in observance of Juneteenth.
Week 3: Discovery Week (June 27-July1)
In our third week at camp, our explorers will focus on their own world and all the aspects that make it unique. Staff guides will help us learn how to communicate and work as a team, navigate conflict, and respect differences in others. Explorers will play fun games and participate in problem-solving activities while learning life skills for the future. At the end of the week, explorers will share what makes their world extraordinary.
Week 4: Red, White & Blue Week (July 5-8)
Spend week four with us as we celebrate the Fourth of July! Though we will not be at camp Monday in observance of the Fourth of July, camp is still going to be jam-packed with our favorite activities. We will spend plenty of time in the pool and at the climbing wall, along with playing our favorite camp games. Campers will also welcome our local Firefighters & ROTC this week for some fun activities.
Week 5: Explorer Week (July 11-15)
Lions, tigers, and campers…oh my! In our sixth week at camp, we are heading outside with Outdoor Programs for the opportunity to explore the outdoor world in a fun and safe environment. Campers will learn about Leave No Trace principles, campsite setup, compass and map navigation, and more. To cap off the week, campers will go on a hike facilitated by WSU Adventure Program staff.
Week 6: Mini Cougar Week (July 18-22)
GO…COUGS! This week we send our campers to college! No need to worry about exams or tests since we’ll be trading coursework for the lighter side of Coug life. From a trip to Ferdinand’s, exploring the sights on-campus, and meeting Cougar athletes, our campers are sure to make the grade this week.
Week 7: Pirate Week (July 25-29)
Ahoy campers, Pirate week is back! During our fifth week at camp, we’ll be setting off for adventures of the seven seas. We’ll enjoy swashbuckling pirate times and searching for hidden treasures. Get ready to brave the tides of the SRC pool, climb the masts on the SRC climbing wall, and even take on a pirate’s obstacle course. It will be all the fun of being a pirate, without having to swab the deck or walk the plank.
