Learn to save a life! American Red Cross safety education classes will prepare you for emergencies. This training covers First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for workplace, schools, and community. The First Aid/CPR/AED certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion. We are excited to be able to offer this course in a blended learning format. The course will have online and in-person components. The online portion of this course typically takes about 2 hours and 5 minutes to complete. However, stable internet connection, quality of the computer being used, previous knowledge of the material, etc. can all play a role in the amount of time it takes to complete the content.

You love your pets, and want to give them the best life possible; being equipped to deliver first aid and provide a healthy lifestyle for your pet is the best way to do that. In this American Red Cross course, you will learn the basics of providing first aid care for your cat or dog and will learn how to best give care for common emergency situations. This 35-minute online course covers understanding your pet's vital signs, breathing, and cardiac emergencies, wounds and bleeding, seizures, and preventative care for cats and dogs. This course is desktop and tablet compatible.
