Fall 2019 Session 2 Fitness Class Registration Open!

Registration for Fall 2019 Session 2 fitness classes is open September 23-November 2. Fall Session 2 classes will run October 14-December 8. Register for classes online here! Join us for FREE classes during Sweat the Stress, December 9-December 13. Classes will not run as scheduled November 24-November 30.

NOTE: SRC members are eligible to purchase fitness classes at the Chinook. Additionally, Chinook members are eligible to purchase classes at the SRC. Class prices are increased to accommodate access to the facility.

Fitness Class Refund Policy

With receipt or proof of purchase, a full refund given within 6 days after the start of class, 50% refund within 13 days after the start of class.  No refund will be given after 13 days of the start of class. Additionally, to keep costs low, all classes are assessed for cancellation at the end of the first week of the session.  Participants in classes with low enrollment will be given the option of a full refund or transfer into another class. 

Become a Fitness Instructor!

The first step to becoming a UREC Group Fitness Instructor is the Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) course.

Our Spring FIT 6-Week class will meet Tuesdays (3:00-5:00 p.m., SRC Classroom 144) and Saturdays (1:00-3:00 p.m., SRC 256) from January 21 to March 7. There will be no classes on Saturday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 18 in observance of President's Day.

We also offer an Express option for those with both prior instruction experience and a national certification or extensive formal training. Our Spring FIT Express will run March 6 and 7 at the SRC.
