SRC Pool and Spa Will Be Closed Beginning December 9 For Renovation And Maintenance Projects

Beginning December 9, the SRC Pool will be renovated with a new pool liner and the SRC Pool and Spa will be update with a new perimeter gutter grate system. We appreciate your patience as we continue to make updates to our facilities that help us strive for more efficiency in sustainability and improve the customer experience. While the project will begin on December 9, we hope the pool and spa will be ready to reopen on January 2, 2020.  In the meantime, we will offer limited lap swimming at Gibb and Smith Pool. Spring 2020 Fitness Class Registration Now Open!

Registration for Spring 2020 Session 1 fitness classes is open December 1, 2019 - February 1, 2020. Spring Session 1 classes will run January 13-March 8. Join us for FREE classes during All Access Week, January 13-19. Classes will run as scheduled on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 20th and President’s Day, Monday, February 17th, except at Smith Gym.

Fall 2019 Session 2 Fitness Classes

Registration for Fall 2019 Session 2 fitness classes is open September 23-November 2. Fall Session 2 classes will run October 14-December 8. Join us for FREE classes during Sweat the Stress, December 9-December 13. Schedule listed here. Classes will not run as scheduled November 24-November 30. Classes located in Chinook will not run as scheduled on November 23.

Fitness Class Refund Policy

With receipt or proof of purchase, a full refund given within 6 days after the start of class, 50% refund within 13 days after the start of class.  No refund will be given after 13 days of the start of class. Additionally, to keep costs low, all classes are assessed for cancellation at the end of the first week of the session.  Participants in classes with low enrollment will be given the option of a full refund or transfer into another class. 

Become a Fitness Instructor!

The first step to becoming a UREC Group Fitness Instructor is the Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) course.

Our Spring FIT 6-Week class will meet Wednesdays (3:00-5:00 p.m., SRC Classroom 144) and Saturdays (1:00-3:00 p.m., SRC 256) from January 21 to March 7. There will be no classes on Saturday, February 15 and Wednesday, February 19 in observance of President's Day.

We also offer an Express option for those with both prior instruction experience and a national certification or extensive formal training. Our Spring FIT Express will run March 6 and 7 at the SRC.
