Outdoor Photo Contest
Deadline November 15
Show us your skills as you capture the beauty of the outdoors! The Outdoor Photo Contest and Exhibit is an annual event sponsored by WSU’s Outdoor Recreation Center and Student Entertainment Board. This contest is open to any amateur photographers.

Submissions will be accepted September 15 through November 15 (Images submitted before or after the posted dates will not be accepted). No more than four submissions per participant.

Come pick a pumpkin! This event is free and no pre-registration is required to attend.
Our pool/aquatic pumpkin patch is just the place for you to get your Fall necessity, the pumpkin! You can get in the pool and pick one out yourself or you can come in dressed and our staff in the pool will hand you the one that you point to and you can take it home. We will also have carving and painting tables for those who wish to decorate their pumpkin here at the Student Recreation Center. One pumpkin per individual. This event is first come first serve, when we run out we run out. We will have around 200 pumpkins to give away that are donated from a local farm.

Sweat the Stress: Dec 9-13
Attend free fitness classes during finals week to help bust stress! Exercise (and fun!) are proven to aid concentration and memory. Find options in the Student Recreation Center, Chinook Student Center and online. No registration required!

Outdoor Recreation Center
The Outdoor Recreation Center and WSU Surplus will host a sale of some of the ORCs used outdoor rental and programming equipment to allow room for the new equipment we have coming in! Some of our featured items for sale will be snowboard equipment, cross country skis, tents, bike maintenance tools, as well as hard-shell and inflatable watercraft. We hope to see you there!
